Today we set off to find a geocache and went through areas of this Sonoran Desert we had never seen. We were very near the Colorado River and went through the Ehrenberg-Cibola OHV area. We ate our packed lunch in a sandy wash with flowers all around and other than birds chirping, silence. It was very nice but we still had at least a 2 hour ride ride back to the bus, so we headed back and ended up putting 80 miles on the quads for the day! Whew!It was a great day, sunny and just a little breeze that made wearing shorts quite comfortable. We really enjoy this desert.
